I am a mother of three beautiful girlsm ages 12, 9, and 3. I have recently experienced the feeling of awe when I took my baby to the Dr. and they diagnose her with a disease that you can not test for, and a disease that is deadly to children under the age of 5. This Disease is called KAWASAKI. It is a bacteria infection that gets into the blood stream and attacks the arteries of the heart. The feeling of so many questions and no answers has led me to research. Studies seem to eliminate everything but stagnet water and vaporizers to be a possible cause. I can say I live near stagnet water and used a vaporizor weeks prior to her being diagnosed. I feel because I am a victim of this disease and have the area with stagnet water and the vaporizor, I can make a change. No parent deserves to go through not knowing if your child lives or dies over a disease they no nothing about!! I would like to start an organization/ business for single parents and battered women to help with collecting evidence to get rid of this KAWASAKI. A water sampling business is what I would like to start. I would use funds for supplies and to get started. I would like to build a Shelter big enough to support at least 5 or more single or battered women and there children so they can overcome there tragedy and learn there is a better way. I would put them to work for the water sampling so they could earn there own money to beable to make a way for themselves. I feel this would be a great program if I could have help funding it!
